Competitive Edge: Don't Get Benched: Tips and Tricks to Ensure You're Compliant with the Building Energy Benchmarking Ordinance" It's the Law!

At this workshop you’ll learn how to use the industry-leading benchmarking tool, ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager®, which will not only help you better manage energy consumption but also give you greater insight into prioritizing energy audits and retrofits.

By learning how to benchmark your building, you also will be prepared to comply with mandatory regulations, such as Assembly Bill 802 and the City of San Diego’s Building Energy Benchmarking Ordinance. We also will introduce the Benchmarking Coach program that provides no-cost, one-on-one technical support to building owners through the San Diego Regional Green Business Network.

Guest Speaker:

Tony Moore, Senior Management Analyst, City of San Diego Sustainability Department has generated awareness for sustainable community gardens and landscaping, water conservation programs for residential and commercial buildings, and energy Benchmarking. Tony is a member of Local Government Sustainable Energy Coalition (LGSEC), the Green Business Network, and Urban Sustainability Directors network.
