IYP Annual Charity Event @ The Cork and Craft

IYP and the San Diego Food Bank are partnering to host IYP's Annual Charity Event!  Please join us at The Cork and Craft in Rancho Bernardo as we raise money for the nearly 500,000 San Diego residents who face food insecurity every day.

By attending this Annual Charity Event, you can help support the Food Bank in two ways:
1. Participate in the raffle, all proceeds benefit the Food Bank
2. Sign up to volunteer at the Food Bank on October 3rd. Sign-up information below.

A representative from the Food Bank with give a short presentation about the impact the organization has on San Diego residents, including children, seniors and military families. Don't miss out on this chance to get some good karma, enjoy tasty food and drinks and mingle with other IREM Young professionals.

Thank you very much for your willingness to volunteer at the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank Warehouse located at 9850 Distribution Avenue

This email will serve as formal confirmation that we have reserved a volunteer shift with 30 spaces for your group, IREM IYP, to volunteer on October 3, 6-8 pm.  Registration instructions are below.

Your registration window will open 30 days prior to your shift and will close 7 days in advance of the shift.  Any unregistered  volunteer slots will be released so that other community volunteers may sign up and we can be assured that we have enough people to complete the tasks for that shift.  Please review this entire email for clear registration direction and forward this email to each of your group volunteersinstructing them to register.  Volunteers who have not signed up for the shift will not be allowed to volunteer.

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

Please note that group registration DOES NOT automatically reserve all spaces for the event, each person in your group MUST complete their own registration and sign up for the shift.  This is a 2-step process for volunteers new to the Food Bank or new to your group.

Each person in the group must complete their own registration for the shift – this includes children, friends, significant others, family members, etc.  Any unregistered  volunteer slots will be released for other community volunteers to sign up 7 days in advance of the shift and your group will forfeit the spots.  To sign up for the shift all volunteers must sign in to their account, scroll to the event date and the green “sign up” circle next to the date.

Instructions for volunteers new to Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank:

  1. Visithttp://sdfb.volunteerhub.com/account/signin
  2. Click “Create an account”
  3. Create a user name and password, click next
  4. Enter join code“irem“ (join code is case sensitive), click next
  5. Fill out account information and click “finish”
  6. Scroll to the event date 10/3and register for the shift Evening Shift Warehouse Volunteer by clicking on the green sign up circle next to the shift.

 

Instructions for volunteers with an existing Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank volunteer profile but new to your group:

  1. Visithttp://sdfb.volunteerhub.com/account/signin
  2. Sign in with existing user name and password
  3. Click “Your Account” in the upper right corner of the screen
  4. Click on “join code” box 
  5. Enter join code “irem“ (join code is case sensitive) .
  6. Click “join” and “go to my account” on the pop up screen.
  7. Scroll to the event date 10/3 and register for the shiftEvening Shift Warehouse Volunteer by clicking on the green sign up circle next to the shift.
