SPEAKERS: Rex Hime & Molly Kirkland

Rex Hime, President and CEO of California Business Properties (CBPA), IREM's Region 11 Legislative Advocate, will review Proposition 15 and the "No on Prop 15" campaign. With more polling coming in on this disastrous proposition, find out more on the financial positioning, public opinion, and the final steps we, as an industry, need to take to protect Prop 13 for commercial property.

About Rex: Prior to joining (CBPA), Rex served on then Governor Reagan’s educational staff and as Assistant to the Director for the State Department of Consumer Affairs. Later he was the Executive Director of the California State Commission for Economic Development, Director for the California Commission on Agriculture and as a Special Assistant to the Lieutenant Governor. His legislative experience includes service as the Senior Assistant to the Minority Leader of the California State Assembly.

About Molly: Molly Kirkland has served as the Public Affairs Director for the Southern California Rental Housing Association (formerly SDCAA) since 2012. Prior to that she worked for the San Diego Association of REALTORS® (SDAR) for over seven years, originally in the Government Affairs Department. In January of 2009 she took over as Director of Communications for the organization. Prior to SDAR, she served as a Field Representative for California State Assemblymember Howard Wayne.
